The 'Xperience Birmingham Festival
The Xperience is a three day umbrella event. It's made up of workshops, forums, mixers, tours, and more! The Xperience will imprint an educational, social, & cultural change on all who attend. The main purpose of the Xperience is to improve & promote unity, self- efficacy, and visibility amongst heterosexual allies and the urban LGBT community. This year the Xperience will be taking place in the noble city of Birmingham, AL. It aims to promote an optimistic image of the Magic City and throughout Alabama by way of community activities and services. The Xperience programming includes producing 2 of largest urban cultural celebrations in Alabama, which includes The Union of the Community & The YouSelf Awards.

The Union of the Community, brings together an array of individuals from different paths in life to have very important, impactful, yet sometimes uncomfortable and uncanny conversations about pressing topics that affects our communities. This event will merge the key componts of the Xperience. It creates the perfect educational, social, & cultural environment.

The YouSelf Awards
The YouSelf Awards is the perfect fuse of activism, pop cultural, and young community enterprisers. At The YouSelf Awards we believe in highlighting individuals that simply stay true to who they are while making differences for not only themselves but those around them. It serves as an evening of empowerment & entertainment uplifting and honoring the urban LGBTQ+ community, community supporters, allies, friends, family, and colleagues. This is formal; semi formal event, nonetheless we want you to know that it's okay to express YOU=SELF however you see fit. This event serves as an annual charity fundraiser of The Yuseef Foundation. This year funds are being raised for HIV/AIDS Research. Catered Dinner will be served. It is Highly important to RSVP for this event.

Balancing the "F''s of Life: Faith, Family, and Friends
Held at The Linn-Henley Research Library, Leaders and Believers of faithful backgrounds, will come together to have a conversation about digesting the struggles, the victories, and the future dealing with the “F”s of Life. Panelists will discuss how some issues maybe affecting a community at large and how we can work towards more tangible solutions. There will be time for Q&A following the conversation.
