Birmingham, what an amazing weekend at the Home and Garden Show. This past week we have our first activation of the year with AARP. This pop-up event was a three-day activation that allows the consumers to engage with our reps, play a fun game, win free prizes, and learn more about our involvement in the community. The Home and Garden Show at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center allows shoppers to visit different vendors that cater to their home decor and improvement needs. Not only was it great to see faces light up upon finding their idea purchases but also to see some of our other partners such as State Farm, Dedicated Personnel, and a few others. The highlight of this weekend was on Sunday when families brought their kids out to experience the excitement. The AARP activation features a "Money Match" game that allows individuals to catch a colored ball and whatever ball they catch determines the question they answer. Each question is financially related to saving money through our daily habits and spending such as "How much money could you save by turning off the water while brushing your teeth?" This allows us to educate and entertain while spreading the AARP message and informing people of all ages on easy ways to save money. We're always excited to be working with AARP and the event logistics company LiveTech. Shout out to Ms. Nena Moore for an amazing job coordinating this event. We look forward to working with you guys again this year.
