Izzy&Liv Pop Up Shop (Essence Festival Wknd)

Wow, what an amazing weekend experience this past weekend at the 2019 Essence Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana. From the amazing Cajun food to the live performances and surprise appearances this was yet another Essence Fest that will be well remembered. Nevertheless, one of the highlights of this weekend was our day time experience at the Izzy & Liv Pop Shop on Julia Street. Let first tell you this was an amazing idea because it allowed visitors to see more than the usual convention center experience. The pop-up shop location on Julia street is in the Art District of New Orleans hosted by LeMieux Galleries. Friday opens opened at 11 am and consumers were lined up ready to shop, take pictures, and even meet CEO of Izzy & Liv - Nicole Brown. By the way, she is such a beautiful person inside and out. The company is named after her two daughter, hints the name Izzy and Liv. Nicole is such a pleasure to work with because she is so humble. We didn’t realize she was the owner of the company until hours into the event. Izzy & Liv is known for there creative fashions, trendy style and their monthly "Brown Sugar Boxes" that include graphic tees, jewelry and more. Each day was filled with celebrity appearances, karaoke, music, flash sales, makeup retouches and more. Day One, Mr .Love Jones himself - Larenz Tate stopped by for a meet and greet. Day Two, Mr. Movie Chocolate - Lance Gross came to show the ladies a great time while they shops, and took pictures. Then day three, the legendary MC Lite along with Dr. Lynn Richardson dropped in to drop some knowledge on our community on financial literacy, culture awareness and a few other things. Shout out to Wink Events INC. & Priceless One Management for producing an amazing event and also is to participate. Round of applauses to @FreshJohnson and @DJAllyBea for holding up down all with on the mic and sound. These ladies kept the party going all weekend. We can’t wait until next year.
